Jimmys involvement with the club has been as a junior player and as an open age player in the past. He has also gone on to coach the Open age team in previous years picking up and award from the Batley News as coach of the year. He was also coach of junior teams at the time before starting to coach his son at tots sessions and is now currently still coaching his sons Age group, this coming seasons U10s. Jimmy is also coach co-ordinator at the club helping & developing coaches in all teams.

This year Jimmy was instrumental in setting up the newly formed Batley Boys Masters team which he also plays in.

Malcolm was a very well respected figure around the Batley Area coaching numerous age groups at Batley Boys throughout the years. After the sad passing of Malcolm his family decided to dedicate a trophy in memory of him for the Person/Persons who makes an Outstanding Contribution to the Club in any capacity.
