Great game of Rugby league on show from 2 great sides as under 9s beat Castleford panthers who haven’t lost in over 12 months.
Batley boys took an early lead for a great run from Levi Edwards. Cas Panthers came back with a good try of their own.
Dylan Waterworth went over half the field to score a great individual effort. Baily Aldridge having once again a great game in both defence and attack. Levi Edwards went over for 3 more try’s and Dylan Waterworth another 2.Bradley Hyett ran the ball in well going close to the line. Josh Rhodes put his body on the line on more than 1 occasion to keep the Panthers on Batley’s line. Olly littlewood had a great game in defence, Josh stones had a good go forward game, Edward Thompson tackled well, john paul-bedsworth ran the ball well and tackled above his weight. Jordan ran Castleford up and down the field going close to the line.
