1. TH - Saturday we have our first NCL game in 14 Months against Dewsbury Celtic, are you excited for the upcoming short season with a few derbies?
GD - Yes mega excited, these are the games I play rugby for local derby after local derby.
It’s been a long lay off after a very impressive start to last season where I think we would have taken some beating!

2. TH - What are your thoughts on pre season & the games against Brighouse and Hunslet Warriors?
GD - Pre season has been hit and miss, a lot of faces have either left the club or not returned but we have got some good young lads and some second team players that have really stepped up. Brighouse was a good test for us and we blew some cobwebs off. Hunslet we played with a lot of new faces and we were the better team for 70 minutes of the game, our defence was solid and we looked sharp in attack.

3. TH - Who’s impressed you in training and the 2 games we have played?
GD - couple of mentions, Jamie Trott had a good game against Hunslet at the weekend, Ryan Leadbeater our new half back slotted straight in and a big mention to Bradley Hyett who stepped up massively.

4. TH - What are the goals of the team building for the future?
GD - Keep building on game by game and bringing the young lads through. Hopefully get our hands on the local cup at some point!
