This year the award goes to a person who has totally committed themselves to Batley Boys from the beginning of the year to the end. The ultimate club person.
The year began with Tina taking sole charge of the new registration system. She embraced it by using the system to register all of our 10 teams and not just the teams that the YJL wanted. Tina is a touchline manager for the u7s and sometimes steps in for other age groups. Tina is a really creative person with lots of different ideas and carries them out whilst been super organised. It was Tinas idea for the recent Club Legend photos, we were the first rugby club to book them and what brilliant photos they were too.
Tina also came up with the idea to enter for the cash for kids initiative and despite a short timescale we as a club managed to raise a tremendous amount of money. Last month England played New Zealand at Elland Road, Tina not only went with her family but she also organised for 250 people associated with Batley Boys to also go and enjoy the game. Not only that, the younger age groups were allowed to parade around the pitch pre match.
The main thing that takes up a lot of Tinas time is the clubs social media. She promotes the club on Facebook & Twitter and keeps the members updated on events and information about the club.
Pink Weekend - Tina is so enthusiastic about this and wants it to be a success for the club but also enjoyable for the kids.
At the foundation of everything she does are the kids and she wants it to be the best place for players to play the sport of rugby league.
The list is endless attending ambassador meetings, junior committee meetings and organising the Christmas Party!
Thank you Tina!
