Malcolm Shuttleworth Outstanding Contribution Award

This is the third year we have presented this award for Outstanding Contribution for someone who goes over and above for Batley Boys.

This year the award goes to a quiet unassuming man who does things for Batley Boys in the background without being asked that some people don’t see! These are just some of the things Daz does for the club:

• Daz was instrumental in setting up and attending meetings for the Leeds rhinos & Huddersfield Giants ambassador schemes.
• Organised and set up the spectator barriers for both staincliffe & the mini mod pitch.
• Plays a vital part in the general committee.
• Cutting & marking out pitches.
• Daz also finds the time to coach our U14s team.
